Short summary
The work presents decades of experience of performance assessment to support selection process in Switzerland, which includes complex THMC coupled physical processes, lifecycle assessment, probabilistic assessment, and integrated regional-, repository-, component-scale models. The final evaluation was made integrating a wide range of information, including regional stress conditions, tectonic structures, stratigraphy, lithology, mineralogy, and the impact from effects induced by the repository.
