Short summary
We present the results of a multi-criteria approach to forecast possible regions of volcanism in Germany. Quantifiable parameters were selected, and threshold values were assigned and related to levels of significance. By combining all parameters into an overall index, the presented results allow the regional differentiation of the likelihood of future volcanic activity in Germany.
