Short summary
Planning and licensing processes for nuclear waste management involve a variety of environmental assessments. During the panel we will present and discuss quality criteria for environmental assessments. These can, for example, be related to the outcome of the planning process, the extent to which improvements are achieved with a view to a high level of environmental protection, and the extent to which actors and stakeholders involved may perceive preferred alternative solutions as fair.
